Giovanni Li Calzi

Giovanni is an expert in Medical Planning. He plays a pivotal role in the general planning, scheduling and development of complex projects in the field of healthcare and social care, coordinating multidisciplinary teams in order to work to a deadline and within budget.
Giovanni graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano. The former CEO and General Manager of engineering companies specialising in the hospital sector, such as Archema Engineering, Sinesis, SINERGIA, NEC - Niguarda Engineering Consulting (public-private design company of Ospedale Niguarda Ca' Granda), he is now the CEO and General Manager of InAR - Ingegneria Architettura.
In addition to his role as a team leader in important public and private hospital projects in Italy and abroad, Giovanni is the project manager of several initiatives in the health sector for Eni Salute.

Riccardo Levantino

Riccardo graduated in Business Administration from the Università degli Studi di Pavia. In 2004 he founded Talent Consulting, a business consultancy company specialising in corporate finance, of which he is the Director.
He has a decade of experience of working with leading firms on the national and international scene and has strong skills in industrial accounting, strategic planning and treasury management.
He has been the Administrative and Financial Director of InAR - Ingegneria Architettura since 2013.

Stefano Fontana

Architecture

Stefano carries out teaching and research activities. He has been an Adjunct Professor at the School of Architecture and Society of the Politecnico di Milano since 1999, conducting research on national and international healthcare facilities. Since the same year, he has been a lecturer in architectural design, design theory and technique, and analysis of building morphology and typology at the Chartered Institute of Building.
He is particularly active as an expert for public tender commissions in the province of Milan and a member of judging committees in design and ideas competitions.

Amedeo graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. In his career, he has gained significant experience in all complex system and energy sectors, with a focus on hospitals, operating theatres and intensive care units, research laboratories and clean rooms, as well as civil and industrial buildings and cogeneration plants.

Sonia graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano. She has worked with important healthcare institutions from the planning phase of transformations onwards and then followed all the related aspects, with a particular focus on health, safety and environment (HSE). Her professional career has enabled her to gain considerable experience in management (from design to building site management) and skills in coordinating the various professional figures involved in the construction process. She is also in charge of managing the various applications necessary for the Accreditation process, working together with the main medical and nursing organisational figures, verifying the structural requirements in the wards and working to preserve them or seeking solutions to any critical issue involving them.

Oscar graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano and over the years has gained solid experience in the field of works supervision and safety coordination of private and public construction works. Decades of professional activity in the field of Supervision of Works have allowed him to gain great experience, in particular, in the administrative management of Contracts, Works Accountancy, time-cost control and quality control. Assisted by operational management teams and site inspectors, he has coordinated several Supervision of Works Offices, especially in the field of healthcare and hospital construction, dealing in particular with the management of the interferences and coexistence of facilities with healthcare activities.

Giuseppe graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Università degli Studi di Parma, specialising in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine with a focus on Public Health and Hospital Hygiene and Technology. He has been Medical Director in major hospitals in Lombardy, such as Ospedale di Circolo e Fondazione Macchi in Varese, Ospedale di Circolo in Busto Arsizio, Ospedale San Gerardo in Monza, Azienda Ospedaliera della Provincia di Lecco and Ospedale Niguarda Ca' Granda in Milan. Over the years, Giuseppe has worked both in Italy and abroad, collaborating in the design and initial operational life of new hospitals as well as in the reorganisation of healthcare activities, with a focus on certifications of excellence and hospital risk management. From 2015 to 2017 he was a member of the Commissione tecnologie sanitarie (Health Technology Commission) of Regione Lombardia and an Agenas (National Agency for Health Services) accredited expert.
He is a lecturer for Università degli Studi di Milano, Università di Milano Bicocca and Liuc - Università Carlo Cattaneo in Castellanza, in the province of Varese.

Margherita graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano. She has focused her professional activity, studies and research on the healthcare and social care sector, keeping in constant contact with research centres in Italy and abroad.
She is the Scientific Director of the "Progettare per la Sanità" magazine, Vice-President of the Centro Nazionale per l’Edilizia e la Tecnica Ospedaliera (CNETO), and lecturer for the specialization course in "Planning, Programming and Design for Health Buildings" at the Politecnico di Milano. Margherita has been a speaker and moderator at numerous conferences and has published articles in various scientific journals.
As a designer, she has actively participated in important projects, both in Italy and abroad, on greenfield areas or areas to be redeveloped and/or extended.

Cecilia graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business of Università La Sapienza of Rome and went on to complete a specialisation course in Public Finance. She has collaborated with major public institutions in the study, implementation and execution of innovative Public-Private Partnership models for the creation of public works and infrastructure in the sectors of: hospitals, infrastructure, cultural and monumental heritage, residential construction and hospitality.
In her professional career, Cecilia has gained remarkable experience in the economic-financial and contractual aspects related to these models as well as in the management and coordination of the various professional figures in the different implementation phases, providing assistance to public and private clients in the implementation and construction of works, evaluating possible solutions to any economic-contractual and procedural issues within the PPP models.

Graziano can boast decades of experience in hospital design and planning, having started his professional activity in the early 1980s at Prof. Arch. Epifanio Li Calzi's Architecture Studio.
In his professional experience as Medical Planner, Graziano has designed, among others, the new Ospedale Destra Secchia in Pieve di Coriano (Mantua), the extension of the Humanitas-Gavazzeni complex in Bergamo, the Centro Clinico Multimedica in Sesto San Giovanni, the redevelopment of Spedali Civili in Brescia, and the redevelopment of Ospedale Niguarda in Milan.
In the InAR Team, he is a Senior Medical Planner and is responsible for the coordination of large projects in the healthcare sector.
Roberto Capra

Roberto Capra

Roberto has many years of experience in healthcare design and management of major hospital projects around the world (India, Chile, Europe, Africa) on behalf of public institutions and concessionaires or SPVs in public-private partnership projects.
He was a founding partner of CTE (Collegio tecnici della industrializzazione edilizia) and later, after serving as President for 10 years, he participated in the establishment of ICMQ (Istituto Certificazione Marchio Qualità).
Roberto is the General Manager of "ICPrev", a professional certification company in the field of safety, Vice President of "AIAS", the Italian Association of Environment and Safety, and coordinator of the technical-scientific committee (65 groups) and of the leading group Salute, Technical Director of Ospedale San Raffaele and of the design company Ortesa SpA, and Managing Director and Technical Director of NEC - Niguarda Engineering Consulting. As an expert, he has been a member of several tender commissions in the hospital sector.
