The “More Life to Years” project is an initiative by the VIDAS Foundation aimed at addressing the residential needs of an elderly population rendered fragile by the coexistence of one or more chronic, progressively debilitating conditions with a terminal prognosis of approximately two years. Many of these individuals also face social challenges, such as loneliness and insufficient resources.
The project is driven by the desire to eliminate the stigma that associates old age and frailty with social isolation.

The redevelopment of the Cascina Casanova area within Milan’s Forlanini Park represents a significant opportunity to foster connections among people, integrating the space with the local community and its services. The design respects the existing context while aiming to enhance it and promote sustainability and inclusivity.
The project involves revitalizing the Cascina Casanova site through recovery and redevelopment efforts, transforming the semi-abandoned area into a “pilot project” of high social value inspired by the most advanced international initiatives.
